(Warren) De La Salle 2019 DB committed to Boston College this morning on the early National Signing Day over Northwestern, Iowa, Wake Forest among others.

Deberry a 3 star recruit with a 5.6 rivals ranking explains why he chose Boston College over the other schools he had offers from:

“I know I can make an impact right away there,” says Deberry. “The staff has sent five cornerbacks to the league.”

Deberry was a 3 year two-way starter for the Pilots including the last two where he led the Pilots to back-to-back State Championships.

“It helped doing so well as a team this year, I got more exposure and showed what I could do on the big stage against other good players and teams.”

Winning back-to-back State Championships makes Deberry hungry to win more at the next level in the ACC.

“I’m a winner, I don’t like to lose. I have a championship mindset and that’s what I will bring to Boston College.”

Deberry signed his National Letter of Intent at De La Salle High School with teammates Jacob Dobbs who signed with Holy Cross and Danny Motowski who signed with Central Michigan.
