Belleville 2022 DB Myles Rowser will visit Michigan this Saturday in their home game Big Ten opened against Nebraska.
Rowser is returning to Michigan for a second time after attending their BBQ in July.
“I want to get there Saturday and discuss my future as a student-athlete with Coach Brown, and Coach Harbaugh,” says Rowser.
As a freshman in high school Rowser has a LONG ways to go in high school but early on he has a special connection and tie to Michigan that may be hard to beat.
“My great uncle John Rowser played RB/CB for Michigan in the 60’s and won a Super Bowl with the Packers. I’m trying to be like that or if not better.”
Along with his uncle, Rowser is pretty close so close however they’re actually brothers, who is a Michigan commit in the 2020 class, Andre Seldon Jr. who also goes to Belleville and plays DB.
“(Dre) is my big brother. Playing with him and learning from him everyday is an advantage for me and with his commitment to Michigan that makes me want to be there with him more but bring this early my recruitment is open to anyone.”
Along with Seldon, there are a couple other big time recruits on Belleville’s roster, including Devontae Dobbs and Julian Barnett both committed to Michigan State.
“Right now, no one is really focused on recruiting, we’re trying to focus on doing our jobs and getting better everyday. Our big task is bringing home the state championship this year.”
So far Rowser describes his varsity experience as “exciting”, and says he’s learned a lot fast. The freshman has a lot of time left in High School but with all the early interest which includes Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, and UCLA his recruitment might be one to watch in coming years.
