Flint Beecher 2020 WR Earnest Sanders received his second D1 offers over the weekend from Toledo while visiting the Glass City as the Rockets took on Miami.
The offer joins Central Michigan and Ferris State (D2) as schools that have offered the Wide Receiver.
“I was invited to the game by the coaches and after the game I met with Coach Poteat, and he told me they wanted to offer me a scholarship so I was really excited,” says Sanders.
On top of schools that have already offered Sanders, he’s been hearing from a couple more that he wants to get to on visits soon.
“Cincinnati and Michigan State have been in contact quite a bit.”
Sanders is getting offered right now on the football field but it’s worth noting that he also plays basketball at Beecher High School where he was a State Champion as a freshman and plays along side one of the highest recruited players in the Midwest in the 2020 class in Jalen Terry.
“I’ve thought about playing two sports in college but it’s hard to do, I’d like to play both but right now I’m just focusing on one.”
Sanders and Flint Beecher are 2-2 through four games this season and face a crucial week 5 game against Bentley who is 1-3 and is coming off a 42 point loss to Tawas Area.
