Huntington North 2019 OT Damon Kaylor had received 17 scholarship offers to play college football before June 6th coming from the Big Ten, ACC, and SEC among others.
Last Wednesday the 3-Star OT from Indiana made it official announcing on twitter his commitment to attend Michigan State University and play football in the fall of 2019.
“I was able to visit last week and I just really liked everything I saw. I really like the coaching staff and could see myself playing for them.”
Now that Kaylor is committed before camp season really gets underway all of his focus is on his current team at Huntington North.
“My focus is on my team right now so we can get better, and just being the best player I can be.”
Kaylor also looks forward to building relationships with current MSU commits and helping to recruit new ones to help him in his time in East Lansing.
“I’m not really recruiting anyone yet to come to MSU but I’m sure I will. As for the guys already committed, I’ve talked to Spencer Brown (OL Commit Walled Lake Western) the most but I’ve been in contact with a couple of the other guys too.”
Kaylor becomes Michigan State’s 10th overall commit and 3rd offensive line commit in the 2019 class.
