For East Kentwood 2020 DE Bryce Mostella 2018 has been a whirl-wind with his college recruitment gaining the attention of a lot of schools around the country.
The 6-foot-6, 235 pound Defensive End received his first offer on January 16th from Ball State University and since has received 18 offers including most recently Michigan.
“My recruiting is going well. Right now I’m getting back in the swing of things football wise though.”
Mostella has two camps he’s planning on attending for sure this summer and knows what he wants out of them.
“I’m going to Northwestern and Michigan. I already have a few for what the campus, facilities, and people are like. I really want to get a feel of how the coaches would coach me as a player.”
Mostella says so far there’s a couple schools that have stood out to him but he’s not going to count anyone out yet.
“I’d have to say I like Northwestern, Michigan, Penn State, Minnesota, and Kentucky. I like these schools because they’ve given me a chance to play football and they’re all programs I could see myself playing at for four years while getting my education.”
Not only is Mostella a highly recruited lineman from East Kentwood, he plays with two others in 2019 5 Star Wisconsin commit Logan Brown and 2020 Dallas Fincher.
“I’m looking forward to seeing how everyone has gotten better from last season. I like playing on a good line because it’s not easy for teams to try and isolate one of us, so even if they try it’ll open the door for one of us.”
Mostella is ranked 5th in the Class of 2020 in Michigan by Midwest Prep Lounge.
